Cultural connection

Cabeza, hombros, rodillas y pies

Children in Spanish-speaking countries sing their own version of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes: “Cabeza, hombros, rodillas y pies.” Same tune, same giggles, different language. Find it online and sing both versions back to back — which one is faster?

Unit 7 progress check

A light, no-pressure way to see what is sticking:

  • Can your child touch the right body part when you name it in Spanish?
  • Can they lead one round of Simón dice as the caller?
  • Do they catch YOU when you touch the wrong part on purpose?

Two out of three is a great place to move on — everything spirals back in later units.
